Abdesslam Laraki is known for being one of the world’s top yacht designers, but he’s also had his hand in the automotive industry. In 2002, Laraki unveiled the Fulgura concept, and in 2005, the Borak concept. Loraki has been quiet ever since, putting neither of these exotic cars into production.
Surprisingly, Laraki showed up to Pebble Beach over the weekend to unveil an all-new concept, the Laraki Epitome. With up to 1,750 hp under the hood, thanks to a 7-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and a $2 million price tag, this concept is no slouch.
These wheels combine design, functionality and performance with aesthetic beauty.
When Laraki was designing the car, he had to commission a wheel company that was capable of designing and producing wheels that could not only withstand the enormous power, but also look fantastic. He decided on Lexani Wheels, and immediately Lexani knew they had to create something extraordinary.
The custom, one-of-a-kind, deep pitch concave LZ-102 wheels fit the concept perfectly, combining design, functionality and performance with aesthetic beauty. They come with titanium fasteners, forged aluminum centers, and the first ever blending of traditional contours with deep concave.
After seeing the wheels on the Laraki Epitome, we can see why Lexani was commissioned to create the wheels.
