Inspiration from the night sky makes its way into the newest timepiece from Zenith x Time + Tide.
While Zenith continues to pay homage to the examples that help build the foundation of its brand, it also celebrates innovation and strives to push boundaries with the Defy Collection. Boasting state-of-the-art design and movement technology, the Zenith Defy lineup offers a modern take backed by over 150-years of watchmaking. Zenith watches is proud to announce its new collaboration release with renowned watch content publisher Time + Tide. The all-new Defy Classic Skeleton “Night Surfer” is presented as an openworked 41mm timepiece crafted from micro-blasted titanium, which provides a stealth-like matte finish. Contrasting against the dark design of the case and bracelet is a vibrant blue ombre skeletonized dial, allowing for a closer look at the inner working of the piece. The dial design takes from the sky-show that greets surfers who dare to stay out after sunset. Powering the hours, minutes, central seconds, and date functions are the in-house Elite 670 SK Automatic movement. The highly complex movement provides an impressive 50-hour power reserve and can withstand a 100-meter water resistance, making the luxury example more functional for collectors. The open backcase displays a secondary view of the brilliant movement technology offered by Zenith Watches while also includes engravings to signify the special edition release. Zenith is proud to offer the first-ever matching micro-blasted titanium bracelet to compliment the Defy Classic Skeleton. The Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton “Night Surfer” will be limited to 100 pieces, with 50 pieces allocated to Time+Tide and 50 pieces for Zenith boutiques around the world.
