As part of The Time for Speed Collection, the automotive clock pays tribute to the House’s heritage of expert Swiss watchmaking and handcrafting racing trophies.
While wristwatches follow a guideline of incorporating design characteristics to make them minimal luxury accessories, the traditional art of clockmaking allows for an endless array of opportunities. Know for its involvement in creating trophies for various race events, Tiffany & Co. is proud to pay homage to the automotive world by releasing the newest clock for its Time for Speed Collection. Inspired by race cars from the 1950s, each clock is crafted in aluminum with a Tiffany Blue paint finish and features hard-wearing rubber tires with polished stainless steel spokes and rims. Standing out as a focal point for the piece is a rounded logo embellished with hand-set Tiffany & Co. diamonds on the right side of the car.

On the left side of the open-cockpit car is where collectors can decipher the time of day or night, using a brushed stainless steel aperture that displays the hours and minutes. Taking the driver seat as the engine powers the grand complication, Tiffany & Co. encases a glass dome over the intricate movement that drives the clock. The time is set by rotating the three-spoke steering wheel counterclockwise, and the caliber is wound by pulling the car back on a flat surface. Tiffany & Co. adds a bold “5” on the bumper as a nod to the brand’s flagship store address on Fifth Avenue in NYC. The all-new Tiffany & Co. Race Car Clock is currently available through an authorized dealer for $215,000. Check back into duPont REGISTRY for more upcoming luxury watch news and releases.
