Glashütte Original pairs vintage design with modern movement technology for the Seventies Chronograph.
In today’s world, watchmakers of all kinds are creating their interpretation of the common wristwatch using state-of-the-art design and movement technology. For the professionals at Glashütte Original, the vision of a modern luxury timepiece is based upon the milestone examples that help to pave the way. Glashütte Original is proud to present the newest addition to its collection, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date. The new Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date takes on a retro design as a 40mm stainless steel square case with rounded corners, which is a signature standard for the Seventies Collection. The dial design includes an elegant galvanized dark blue finish that displays Hour, minute (central), small second (off-center), second stop, Panorama Date, chronograph with flyback, chronograph stop-second, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter, and power reserve indicator.
Delivering power to the Seventies Panorama Date is Glashütte Original’s in-house Caliber 37-02 automatic movement, which provides an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The transparent backcase of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the mechanism, while the outer portion is engraved to signify the special addition to Glashütte Original’s vintage collection. As a true everyday versatile timepiece, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date comes with the choice of a Louisiana alligator leather strap, nubuck leather strap, rubber strap, or traditional stainless steel bracelet. The new Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date is now available through an authorized dealer starting at $13,400.
