The first model to receive its new makeover is the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic, showcasing its ultra-thin 40mm octagonal case design crafted from 18k rose gold. Its brown lacquered dial beautifully displays the watch’s hours, minutes, and small seconds functions. The Octo Finissimo Automatic is driven by Bulgari’s in-house BVL138 movement, capable of holding a 60-hour power reserve while operating under a 21’600 VpH frequency. Fit with a transparent sapphire backcase and a matching 18k rose gold bracelet, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic quickly sold out with a price tag of $44,800.
Next on the list for a precious metal redesign is the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT, showcasing a more significant 43mm satin-polished case with a more refined geometric design. Beneath its layers of precious metal bezels, a brown and gold chronograph dial design neatly organizes the complex functions of the world’s slimmest self-winding watch. A sophisticated Bulgari BVL318 movement supplies power to its automatic winding, hours, minutes, small seconds, second time zone, and chrono functions. A sapphire backcase allows the opportunity to view the movement in action, with commemorative engravings on the outer portion to signify the special releases.
