The Fifty Fathoms model receives a new complex movement from Blancpain.
When it comes to staple models for the Blancpain brand, the Fifty Fathoms Collection checks off all the boxes as an iconic example that continues to be reimagined using new designs and movement technology. Blancpain is proud to continue the legacy of the Fifty Fathoms with the all-new Tourbillon 8 Jours Collection, which consists of two luxury versions that feature a complex flying tourbillon movement. The new Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tourbillon 8 Jours presents itself as a 45mm time-only timepiece crafted from Grade 23 Titanium, with an available version in 18k Red Gold. Beneath the deep blue ceramic bezel, the Fifty Fathoms dial design features a blue sunburst finish that beautifully displays the floating tourbillon in action at the 12 o’clock position.
Delivering power to the Tourbillon 8 Jours models is Blancpain’s in-house self-winding Calibre 25C, a movement finished with a Côtes de Genève motif and an impressive 192-hour power reserve. The transparent backcase allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the complex movement, while the outer portion is engraved with production numerics to signify the special release from the timepiece professionals at Blancpain. Along with a choice of case material, Blancpain offers its clientele the option of choosing between a comfortable NATO strap and a traditional titanium bracelet. The all-new limited-edition Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tourbillon 8 Jours Collection is currently available through an authorized dealer.
