The V10 Porsche Carrera GT, aka one of Porsche’s fastest road cars to date, must be a dream to drive. I wouldn’t know, because I’ve not had the opportunity to take one for a spin, but in the video below, evo ICON’s Dickie Meaden gives us a first-hand look at what it’s like to drive the Carrera GT and what makes the car so special.

One pretty cool tidbit he relays is that the Carrera GT’s famed 5.7-liter V10 engine is actually a cast-off racing engine Porsche decided to put to work in a street car. Along with that, Meaden remarks on engine sounds, RPMs and a load of other caveats while we watch the car zipping down the track.
