If you haven’t heard about Hennessey’s insane VR1200 Cadillac, I’ll fill you in a bit, because once you understand the car itself, you can really appreciate this video.
The VR1200 Twin Turbo is based off of the 2012 Cadillac CTS-V. The factory 6.2L V8 is removed and replaced with a slightly de-tuned version of their 7.0L twin turbo Venom GT engine. The engine puts out a whopping 1,226 HP and 1,10- lb-ft of torque. The body is also widened so the larger wheels can be installed and they install their Carbon Aero front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser for increased downforce. Brembo brakes are then installed, along with a slew of upgraded suspension and driveline items so the car can handle the increased power. The interior is also completely upgraded and it includes high-quality leather and Alcantara.
Top speed is set at 242 MPH and it can go 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
Would you like to see this bad boy in action? Of course you would. Check out the video below.
