The world has been waiting to see Christian Von Koenigsegg’s self proclaimed “Megacar,” the One:1, in action. If you are wondering about the unconventional name, it comes from the car’s ability to develop one horsepower per kilogram of weight. If engine power is measured in wattage, One:1 is also the first car to develop one megawatt of power.Their own 5.0L V8 is paired with twin variable geometry turbos (a proprietary design, patented by Koenigsegg), producing a staggering 1,361 horsepower.

The One:1 made its way to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed for the exciting hillclimb event. Before the climb happened, Goodwood Road & Racing was able to take it out for a spin, which was actually the first time anyone outside of Koenigsegg had driven the One:1. This video can be found below, along with some amazing images taken by GFWilliams.
For the main event, the Goodwood Hillclimb, The BHP Project was sitting passenger in the car and filmed an incredible video that was uploaded today, which can be found above.
