A brand internationally recognized for their ability to blend the passion of automotive enthusiasts and the delicacy of horology is back with another timepiece designed to bring the racetrack directly to your wrist. The 2014 R50-MK from BRM is the latest design to feature their patented Isolastic System technology, which maintains the movement inside the case and acts as a shock absorber.
The movement itself was designed to mimic the appearance of an engine, and is set in carbon fiber. Further tying this watch to the automotive realm is the 50 mm case, which is made of Makrolon, the same polymere used when crafting the windshields of racecars.
The strap is made of black tech fabric with colored double stitching that matches the hands, offered in either red, yellow, lime green, baby blue, black or white. Water resistant up to 50 m and weighing in at only 65.82 grams, this watch is available at Exquisite Timepieces, and can be yours for a price of $28,050.
