As many know, on Nov. 30 around 5:30 p.m., Paul Walker was in a devastating fatal accident. Walker was the passenger in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with his friend, Roger Rodas, at the wheel. The racing partners were on their way to a charity event when the car went off the road, hitting both a tree and a pole, causing their vehicle to burst into flames. Though the cause hasn’t been officially determined or publicly announced, speculation as to why the accident occurred has ranged from excessive speed to vehicular malfunction, as seen on TMZ.com.
The death of Paul Walker is felt by millions around the world. His part in the Fast and Furious franchise was central to the success of the movies. According to a Dec. 3 article from MotorAuthority.com, Walker was set to film several major scenes for the upcoming Fast and Furious 7 movie later this week. With Walker’s death, it is unclear exactly which direction the movie will take.
