Are you sick of your jet-ski? Totally over your boat? Well, why not try a Kymera?

What the hell is a Kymera?

Kymera is the world’s first electric jet body board that will take you across the water at speeds of up to 30 mph. Sound too good to be true? Pshh… Its 2013, get with it.

The Kymera features an electric motor that is powered by a lithium polymer battery, and all together the body board weighs 48 lbs. Thanks to the swappable 1000wh battery, you can cruise at 30 mph for up to 60 minutes.

Jason Woods first created the kickstarter for this watercraft with the intention of selling it as a recreational device, but has since garnered attention from lightguards and rescue teams. It makes sense that this would be used for rescue teams and lifeguards, but I don’t think we would be seeing Pamela Anderson running with one of these bad boys anytime soon. However, she would definitely be able to carry it with the Kymera’s light weight.

Woods has raised $36,000 of his $250,000 goal and has 32 days to go. Be sure to visit his Kickstarter page (click here) and donate! $2,500 is the lowest price in order to order one of these bad boys, so get at it!
