London saw the rare unfurling of a blue carpet on Brompton Road Nov. 12, when Bugatti opened its very first lifestyle boutique. “The Blue of London” exclusive event saw a bevvy of celebrities, finely cut attire and a continual infusion of Bugatti’s traditional blue into every detail, according to a press release issued by the marque the same day.
“Bugatti is not only synonymous with state-of-the-art technology and stunning performance in the automotive sector, but also with a unique lifestyle in keeping with the artistic routes of the Bugatti family,” Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S, is quoted in the release as saying at the London launch.
He continued to describe how London was the first choice for a boutique location, as it is both a key market for the manufacturer and a cultural epicenter.

Bugatti plans to open an additional 30 boutiques around the world in the next 5 years, beginning with Tokyo, Dubai and Doha, then Paris and Milan. United States locations will begin opening in 2016.
