The Latvia-based luxury armored cars manufacturer DARTZ Motorz Company creates some of the most over-the-top vehicles in the world, and they just so happen to stop bullets dead in their tracks.
Last year they released the Dartz Prombron Black Dragon, a special edition model that was intended for China only and was meant to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. This year, Dartz has created the 2013 Dartz Black Snake special edition that is also intended for the Chinese market only. Whats the price tag on this solid snake?
A cool $1 million.
The odd thing about the Black Snake special edition is that it is the company’s first non-armored vehicle and is based on the Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG. Its finished with a special black paint that is accented with gold. Its powered by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that puts out an impressive 557 hp.
Now, you may be thinking that the most exciting feature about this vehicle is that you can outfit the inside with crocodile, snake, ostrich, whale foreskin leather and much more, but that is just not the case. The most exciting, yet odd, feature is the 56 grams of premium Mottra caviar that will be delivered monthly for the 2-year warranty time.
Cars and caviar… I think they are onto something.
