Rolls-Royce is prepared for this Sunday’s big game, and has brought out a special guest for the festivities.
Being shown at private events leading up to Super Bowl XLIX is the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk, a $569,000 bespoke creation. According to an article from Bloomberg, this matte black convertible is exclusive to the North American markets, with only 9 examples set to be created.
“Nighthawk demonstrates just how special our bespoke program can make our cars,” the article quotes Eric Shepherd, president of Rolls-Royce North America, as saying last week during a lunch at the Four Seasons. “More than 80% of all our models are bespoke, and with the Phantom it’s virtually all of them, so it’s fitting that we are bringing a Phantom to Arizona.”

Featuring carbon fiber detailing and stunning red leather, the Nighthawk takes its inspiration from the military fighter jets of the same name. Bloomberg’s article reports that several of the nine have already sold, and there’s a chance the remaining examples will sell before half time.
Rolls-Royce Motorcars Pasadena had a chance to enjoy a close-up look at the limited edition luxury car in November of last year, and recorded a walk around of its details.
