Commissioned by Porsche’s U.K. division is a special version of the 2014 911 Turbo S for the the U.K. market, according to an article published today by Motor Authority. Celebrating 40 years of the 911 Turbo, the new 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S GB Edition will have just 40 examples built and is available to order now.
The inspiration for the Turbo S GB Edition’s styling comes from the original 911 Turbo, the 930. A black rear upper spoiler, Sport Classic wheels in black, black finished exterior door handles and a black “Porsche” script along the sills are just a handful of exterior modifications that make this car stand out from the crowd.
Inside, the black leather upholstery is contrasted against red stitching while “Union Jacks” are featured on the center storage compartment lid and glove box.

Customers are able to order their 911 Turbo S GB Edition with either silver, white or red finishes, and can opt for carbon fiber trim in the cabin.
When it comes to the mechanics of this car, no changes have been made. However, considering it’s powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six engine that produces 560 hp, changes are unnecessary. All of this power is routed from the engine to all four wheels thanks to the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
What has always made the 911 Turbo so popular is its ability to accelerate, and with a 0-62 mph time of just 3.1 seconds, this model continues the tradition. In fact, it continues this high-speed tradition all the way up to 197 mph.
If you live in the U.K. and are interested in buying a 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S GB Edition, expect to pay £150,237 (approx. $257,600).
