The Panamera model line has been expanded even further by Porsche, with three new editions set to make their way around the globe later this year. After a few years of insanely successful sales, with 24,864 Panameras delivered in 2014, it’s time to expand the range a little further.
Unveiled in a press release issued by the marque today, the Panamera Edition, Panamera 4 Edition and Panamera Diesel Edition extend this highly successful model line, even more, to better meet customer preferences around the world. Since the introduction of the line in 2009, the Panamera has proven to be one of the most important factors contributing to the company’s growth, with China alone seeing 9,250 units delivered in 2014.
Exterior changes to the Panamera for this new edition come in the form of a high-gloss black strip added to the side windows and door handles, while 19-inch alloy wheels feature a colored Porsche crest on the wheel hub covers. The interior has been upgraded with Black-Luxor Beige upholstery featuring an embossed Porsche crest on every headrest, a Sport Design steering wheel, special floor mats and a door sill featuring “Edition” lettering.

All three editions feature a six-cylinder engine, with the Panamera 4 Edition creating 310 hp, while the Diesel edition, which won’t be available in China, creates 300 hp. What will be available in China is a special variant of the Panamera Edition designed for those with a chauffeur, with more comfortable rear seats and roll-up sun blinds on the side and rear windows. A memory foam package will be offered for the seats of American variants, as well as heated seats in the front and rear.
