Porsche has just added a new model to their GT family, the Porsche Cayman GT4. This is the first GT sports car Porsche has created based on the Cayman. It features components of the well-known 911 GT3 and even tied the 2011 GT3‘s 7’30” lap time at the North Loop of the Nurburgring.
The engine found in the Cayman GT4 is a 3.8-liter flat-six cylinder sourced from the 911 Carrera S. This engine shoots 385 hp through a six-speed manual transmission for a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph.
In order to help control the power, Porsche fixed new aerodynamic components to the GT4’s exterior. In the front, there are three gaping air inlets. Side inlets have been given an extension to capture more air. Go around back and you won’t help but notice the large fixed rear wing.
Inside, the Cayman GT4 is both sporty and stylish. The sport seats are upholstered in both leather and Alcantara, which give the driver and passenger a comfortable, yet supportive ride.
