When we first saw the specs, we knew it was going to be fast. When we saw the design, we knew it would be even faster. When Chris Harris took it out on the track, its speed was confirmed, but thanks to French publication Motorsport Magazine, as of March 12, we officially know just how quick it is.
Motorsport Magazine had a chance to put the Cayman GT4’s acceleration to the test, and it is not disappointing. Beginning from a complete standstill, the GT4 flies to a top speed of 240 km/h, or approximately 150 mph, in the video they added to YouTube March 12.
With 385 hp, 309 lb-ft and a 0-62 mph time of 4.2 seconds, the effortlessness of this acceleration shouldn’t come as a surprise, yet we can’t help being impressed by how smooth the gear shifts appear to be, even at intense speeds and an rpm above 7,000. Though it came shy of the Cayman GT4’s top speed of 183 mph, we still aren’t disappointed by this show.

Check out the video from Motorsport Magazine above, and remember, never try to recreate this stunt or ones similar to it unless you are on a closed course and under professional supervision.
For when that course is closed and the supervision present, though, you’ll need your own Porsche to take out. Browse through our listings below and find the perfect fit for you.
