Sure, we’ve seen the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS on the showroom floor and in press images, but now it’s time to see this model in action.
To give us a taste, Porsche uploaded a video March 11 of the GT3 RS pushing its limits on the track and a mountain side road. This video gives us all a chance hear its engine at high revs and see just how well it can take a turn.
Those unfamiliar with the new 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS should know that it is the most track-ready model in the large 911 lineup. It has a 4.0-liter engine that doles out 500 hp and 338 lb-ft of torque. Combine this power with a light body and precision steering, and you have the recipe for success on the track.
