Pagani is well known for giving customers exactly what they want. Lewis Hamilton wanted two Paganis that were faster than the Zonda R and had manual gearboxes. Done. He owns two Zonda 760LH’s that have 20 more horsepower than the Zonda R and have manual gearboxes. When a Chinese customer wanted a Zonda faster than the Zonda R with his own personal touches, Pagani complied.
The Pagani Zonda 764 Passione features the same 7.3-liter AMG-built V-12 engine that Pagani used in Hamilton’s 760LH. This means that the car also makes 20 more horsepower than the Zonda R. More importantly, the Chinese customer also opted for the six-speed manual gearbox. (Maybe with all of these custom ordered manual Zondas, they will get the idea that people will always love manual. Protip automobile manufacturers – Don’t get rid of manual.) His personal touches are what really make this car: Italian “tricolore” accents on the unpainted carbon-fiber exterior, a huge rear spoiler, a bight pink interior with carbon-fiber accents, and pink brake calipers.
Unfortunately, this may be one of the last Zondas that Pagani will create, if not THE last one.
