To call the Youabian Puma, unveiled Nov. 20 at the LA Auto Show, a big car would be an understatement, because it truly is massive. According to Wired.com, the tires measure in at 44 inches tall and 21 inches wide, with brakes that could cast shadows over a normal car’s tires.
And what kind of body are these massive wheels pushing along? How about one that is 242 inches long; a massive number when compared to the Hummer H1’s length of 184.5 inches. Powering the wheels is a 7.0-liter V8 that pumps out 505 hp and can sprint the car from 0-60 mph in a claimed 5.9 seconds. To give the Puma a sportier feel, it’s equipped with a retractable hardtop roof, which is claimed to open and close in only 20 seconds.
There is no word whether the Puma will hit production or if it is simply a concept car, but it is definitely an interesting endeavor to say the least. If it is produced, it will carry a price tag of $1.1 million. What do you think about it? Leave your comments below.
