With the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V comes a fresh new batch of virtual cars and one real-life take on the series most famous supercar, the Bravado Banshee.

If you are familiar with the series, you know this car was first used in Grand Theft Auto III and has continued to be one of the go-to supercars to steal in-game. As with every car in featured in the GTA series, the make and model are both made of fiction and have never existed outside of virtual reality.

The studio behind Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar Games, thought that it was time one of their vehicular creations was brought from the pixelated pavement to real-life streets. And what better car to create than the Bravado Banshee?

Rockstar Games teamed up with famed West Coast Customs to fashion the Banshee out of a Dodge Viper. Molds for the exterior body were cut and machined for the Banshee, creating a one-off sports car. West Coast Customs even went so far as to reference the in-game model for the interior, which is handcrafted and hand-stitched to mirror the Banshee’s virtual cockpit.

While you won’t be able to pick up a Bravado Banshee off of a showroom floor, you can enter a contest to win the car. GameStop if offering a chance to win the car as part of their PowerUp Rewards™ Epic Reward Giveaway™. Be sure to enter for your chance to own a piece of videogame history.
