Anyone who has been to Monterey Car Week knows how packed it can be at the Portola Hotel. To say they have outgrown the location is an understatement, so RM Sotheby’s has chosen to move their Monterey Auction online. In a press release earlier today, they cited valid concerns over contagious disease.
The first annual “Shift/Monterey” is shaping up to be the world’s largest online car auction. “The new Monterey auction format to be held on original sale week dates, with lots closing on 13–15 August 2020”. If you are looking to add your car to the event, July 13 will be the final day to consign.
