Panoz, LLC, is celebrating their 25th anniversary by presenting a new 25th Anniversary Edition Esperante Spyder, according to a March 3 press release.
During the formal opening of the company’s new facilities in Braselton, Ga., on April 3, the company will pull back the sheets on the special model. The car itself was created in conjunction with Élan Motorsports Technologies, Élan Composites, Panoz Engineering Services and Panoz, LLC.
The car itself is meant to deliver pure sports car performance and reflect Panoz’s endurance racing heritage and performance ethos. It’s a lighter and more powerful version of the original hand-built Panoz convertible. It is built on carbon fiber and aluminum structures, reducing the car’s weight while adding rigidity. The special edition Esperante Spyder also features completely revised and fully independent front and rear suspension and an upgraded brake system.
Customers looking to buy the 25th Anniversary Edition Esperante Spyder can choose between two sports car bodies. The first option is a “super formed” lightweight aluminum body. The second is a body made of carbon fiber panels that are produced in the Élan Composites race shop for the Spyder GT. Customers can also choose between a number of high-performance powertrain packages that range from 430 to 800 hp.
Be sure to check back with us after April 3 for more information.
