Blancpain’s GT series brings together Europe’s most capable supercars to do battle on the world’s most historic tracks. These races are big events for local enthusiasts, as many clubs have activities planned around the competition. Over the weekend, the series made its annual stop at England’s Brands Hatch racing circuit. Almost 2.5 miles filled with off-camber turns and elevation changes make it a challenge for even the most seasoned drivers.
Always on-point to film fast cars in action, our friends at TheSUPERCARDRIVER was able to capture a few testing sessions of the Ultracar Sports Club. An exclusive gathering of wealthy owners who take to the track in four sessions of 30 minutes each. This included a McLaren P1 GTR, Aston Martin Vulcan, Pagani Huayra, McLaren P1 and more. This only happens at Blancpain’s four largest races, of which Brands Hatch was the first of the season. Trading paint was not on the agenda, so we are thankful for great action shots and clear audio. One car in this group does not sound like the others, so listen closely and let us know what it reminds you of.
