KTM X-BOW GTR Unveiled as New GT4 Race Car

In a piece of exciting news for GT4 enthusiasts and race teams, the official name and price have been set for the newest version of KTM’s X-BOW.

Announced in a press release from Austrian-based motorcycle manufacturer KTM today, the KTM X-BOW GTR is set to be the new generation of the X-BOW, with testing of the vehicle beginning in February and an expected availability for customers in late spring.

The finished project comes as the result of joint efforts between KTM Sportcar GmbH and Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co. KG, and features a design from Austrian design studio KISKA.

“At €139,000 we have managed to offer an attractive price for the most modern and safe GT4 racing car on the market,” said Hans Reiter, owner of Reiter Engineering, in the release. “The GTR features the most advanced racing technology, which is normally only the case in higher categories. And in matters of safety, the monocoque technology offers the most unique protection ever in this class up to this point in time.”
