How much is a Ferrari?

A new Ferrari starts at $202,723. The Ferrari California T is the most affordable model. It has a twin-turbo V8 and a convertible hardtop. They are capable of going 196 mph with the top up, after hitting 60 mph in only 3.3 seconds. The engine makes 553 horsepower and sends it to a dual-clutch automatic transmission. A new Ferrari 488 GTB has a starting price of $245,400. It has a twin-turbo V8 mounted behind the driver. The most powerful Ferrari is the F12berlinetta. It has 731 horsepower for $319,995.  In 1962 the price of a Ferrari 250 was $18,000. The 365 GTB/4 had a base price of $19,700. Prices may have changed but performance is still the top priority.

What was the first Ferrari?

The first Ferrari was 1947 125 S. It was powered by a 1.5-liter V12 engine. It was a two-seat sports car with a tube frame chassis. It also had one of the first production five-speed transmissions to be offered. This helped the V12 deliver acceleration at any speed.  Only three cars were built that year, which makes it one of the rarest cars ever built.

How many Ferrari are made each year?

Since 2013, Ferrari has built 7,000 cars each year. In the 1990s they built around 4,000 cars yearly. Production reached 5,000 in 2005. But the management decided to cap the number at 7,000 to preserve the build quality and demand for the brand.
