The world has been introduced to the Donkervoort D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition, which was unveiled on the marque’s website yesterday. This is the first car from Donkervoort to be fully fitted with visible carbon fiber.
Under the hood of this track-ready speed demon is the Audi 2.5-liter R5 TFSI pure sport engine. Donkervoort ensures every drop of power from this engine is put to good use thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber, which results in an impossibly light weight.
In fact, 90 percent of the bodywork found on this car is made out of carbon fiber. This includes the seats, door panels, window frame, dashboard and door sills.

Each Bare Naked Carbon Edition has every carbon fiber component UV-coated by hand. This can be done in either a matte or gloss finish. Customers can even opt for a tint of color in their carbon fiber.
Prices and date of arrival of the D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition are unknown as of now, but stay with us for more information as it is released.
