Unveiled at Pebble Beach in California Aug. 16 was the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “1 of 1.” Bugatti stated in an Aug. 18 press release that this Veyron is truly a one-of-a-kind vehicle, with features designed exclusively for it.
The two-tone exterior was picked out by the owner of the car. He wanted a black and yellow color scheme- the historic Bugatti family colors. Exposed carbon fiber creates the black exterior tones, while the yellow was finished in Bugatti’s paint shop. Accompanying this Veyron at Pebble Beach was a Type 44, provided by the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, USA, also donning a yellow and black color scheme.

The interior of the “1 of 1” continues the yellow and black color scheme. Inside, the cabin is laid with laser perforated black leather that exposes a yellow inner layer, with contrasting stitching. The customer also requested a sketch of the Type 35, which was rendered in the black carbon lid of the rear center box between the seats.
Also, for the first time ever, Bugatti has designed a new radiator grille for this “1 of 1” Veyron. The traditional mesh was replaced with a grille that features a pattern of the letters “P” and “L,” the owner’s initials. Machine cut, this grille had every inner surface hand-polished through a process developed and patented by Bugatti.
Bugatti truly demonstrated their ability to customize their vehicles to their customer’s needs with the Grand Sport Vitesse “1 of 1.” Be sure to see all the details in the gallery below.
