At this year’s Beijing Motor Show, which is currently in full swing, Bentley presented three vehicles to the public, all of which were on display for their global debut. First, the luxury car brand debuted the Mulsanne First Edition. In addition, Bentley is also set to debut the Flying Spur V8 and the Bentayga by Mulliner.
Mulsanne First Edition
The Bentley Mulsanne First Edition will feature an array of “style revisions” as the brand has named the changes, which will include a sterling silver vanity kit and a picnic table as well. The Mulsanne First Edition is limited to 50 examples across the three model spectrum– Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed and Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase. According to a company press release, the First Editions will include “motifs positioned throughout the cabin.” These motifs will include special tread plates and one-of-a-kind embroidery, which is unique to the First Edition and inspired by Union Jack styling.
Currently on display in Beijing is the Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase, of which, the First Edition has incredibly rare 350-year-old English walnut tree veneer and first class airline inspired seating.
Flying Spur V8 S
This model, also a worldwide debut in Beijing, focuses on performance with an output of 521 bhp, which comes in at 14 bph higher thanks to the 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 S engine. Top speed for the Flying Spur V8 S comes in at 190 mph and the model sails from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, a 0.3 difference from that of the V8.
Bentayga by Mulliner
The most notable feature of the Bentayga by Mulliner is the mountain scenery that was created by using individual pieces–30 to be exact– from different veneers, according to the press release. The scenery is inspired by the name of the luxury SUV.
Stay tuned for more updates from Beijing!
