In the first half of 2023, Automobili Lamborghini achieved record-breaking sales and profitability, largely driven by the impressive success of the Urus and Huracán models. Global deliveries surged by 4.9% to reach 5,341 units. Both the Super SUV Urus and V10 sports car Huracán have sold out until production’s anticipated end in late 2024, demonstrating their massive demand in the market.
Lamborghini’s revenues experienced a significant 6.7% growth, hitting $1.574 million. Meanwhile, the operating income rose by 7.2% to a record-breaking $503 million from $468 million in 2022, leading to an improved return on sales at 32.1%.
The company witnessed a balanced global distribution with the EMEA, America, and Asia Pacific regions receiving 2,285, 1,857, and 1,199 cars respectively. The United States retained its top spot, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany, Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, and Italy.
The first half of 2023 was also marked by the launch of Lamborghini Revuelto. Debuting in March, it attracted orders covering over two years of production. The SC63, Lamborghini’s LMDh hybrid prototype for top-level endurance racing, also made its debut, underscoring Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation and high performance.
