Instantly recognizable to any avid watch collector or enthusiast, the IWC Schaffhausen Pilot Chronograph Top Gun “Lake Tahoe” stands out with a stunning all-white ceramic look. The modern-day version of IWC’s classic has quickly grown popular amongst collectors, F1 drivers, and celebrities. IWC Schaffhausen is taking the mesmerizing style of the special edition and applying it to its most complex timepiece, introducing the all-new Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun “Lake Tahoe.” First revealed on the wrist of IWC Schaffhausen CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr, the Perpetual Calendar offers a larger 46.5mm white ceramic case with a pronounced polished screw-in crown.
IWC’s rather busy dial is easily decipherable through its quadrant of sub-dials, each displaying functions like date, day, month, year in four digits, and perpetual moon phase (northern and southern hemispheres.) The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun generates power from IWC’s in-house 52615 automatic movement, which is also responsible for supplying an impressive 7-day power reserve. The complex caliber is visible from a sapphire crystal caseback, where commemorative engravings are found on the outer ring. Following its all-white theme, IWC equips the special edition Pilot’s Watch with a matching white texturized rubber strap and stainless-steel folding clasp. The IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun “Lake Tahoe” is currently available through an authorized dealer for $40,900.
