Top-end vehicles like the S-Class and Mercedes-Maybach offerings accounted for 29% of U.S. deliveries for Mercedes-Benz in 2022. Those deliveries totaled 350,949. This represents a 6.5% increase in deliveries compared to 2021, and the focus shift that Mercedes-Benz is starting is proving its value, as S-Class deliveries increased by 12%, Maybach deliveries increased by 8%, and the EQS Sedan had deliveries increased by an incredible 1,507% compared to 2021. In addition, the 9,974 AMG units delivered represent an increase of 54% compared to 2021.
