From gaming console to the big screen, Playstation's Gran Turismo is telling the true story of a professional racecar driver.

Over the years, we have all grown to love the Gran Turismo video game series, as its responsible for being the gateway into the world of high-performance sports cars. While the game invites players to race on their favorite tracks behind the wheel of a selection of supercars and hypercars, Gran Turismo is excited to announce that its newest project will be seen on the big screen this summer. The all-new Gran Turismo Movie is based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish-fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
