Polestar’s newest offering will be an electric performance SUV.
Making electric cars with a Scandinavian sensibility, Polestar has made waves in the automotive world, and with the announcement of its newest car, which will premiere this October, the brand plans to make waves in one of the most fiercely competitive segments in today’s car market: the SUV segment. With the premiere happening in October, Polestar says that orders for initial launch markets will open the day of the premiere. After that, production will commence in early 2023 in the United States and China. The launch of the Polestar 3 is the catalyst for Polestar’s plan to launch a new car every year for the next 3 years, with the goal of increasing its presence to 30 global markets by the end of next year, and increasing sales by ten-fold from 29,000 in 2021 to 290,000 in 2025. With the first picture of an undisguised Polestar 3 being revealed, we may be witnessing the beginning of a new era in the automotive world.
