A modified Polestar 2 made waves at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and now it will do the same for customers.
The public response to the modified Polestar 2 that made an appearance at the 2021 Goodwood Festival Of Speed was quite positive, and as a result, Polestar has decided to create a version of the Polestar 2 like that one for production, and it’s called the Polestar 2 ‘BST edition 270.’ With added touches to the looks and enhancements to the performance, it’s an embodiment of Polestar’s electric and performance-oriented DNA.

The electric motors combine for an improved total output of 476 horsepower, along with 501 lb/ft of torque. Along with that, the ride height was lowered, 2-way adjustable dampers from Öhlins were added, the springs were stiffened, and the car gets 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by the Polestar 1, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The exterior colors available are Thunder and Snow, with an optional Matte black stripe for $1,000, or a Battleship Gray satin wrap for $5,000, detailed with ‘Swedish gold’ accents. Only 270 of these incredible performance-oriented Polestar 2s will be made worldwide, and they will be exclusively made for Europe, North America, and China with an MSRP of $75,500. A personalized sales process will be available for interested customers as production beings soon, with deliveries expected to take place at the end of the year.
