Half a century has gone by since one of the most iconic names in European performance was first established.
BMW M started life on May 24, 1972, when the partnership agreement for BMW Motorsport GmbH was first signed. Exactly 50 years later, the brand’s two most iconic models, the M3 and M4, get a “BMW M 50 Jahre Edition” to celebrate the momentous anniversary. Different regions throughout the world will be receiving different limited editions of these models, with Europe and other selected regions getting the BMW M4 Coupe BMW M 50 Jahre Edition in Carbon Black, Macao Blue, Brands Hatch Grey, Imola Red, and San Marino Blue.
