Its cold in Flint, Michigan, but they have some hot news for us. After a 1.5 Billion investment by GM, they will soon start production on something new. GMC has unveiled the 2020 Sierra HD with a host of improvements. It will arrive in 2500 and 3500 ratings, with single or dually rear axles. Despite being longer and taller, the bed is 1" lower than last year.

It shares the venerable 6.6L Duramax turbo diesel with its Silverado HD cousins, but Sierra will feature the all-new Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. Other firsts include 15 cameras, this allows for a transparent trailer in the rear view display. Not only will passing be much easier, backing and maneuvering will be an ease. Towing is a breeze because it easily surpasses the 30,000-lb rating of its predecessor.
