Bonhams recently held their annual Monterey auction at the Quail Lodge during the prestigious car week. In total, 135 cars were offered and 82 percent of them were sold. In total, their auction racked up a total of $37.7 million in sales. There were a few stars during the event, including a 1948 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Competizione that sold for over $3 million and the only surviving 1928 Bentley 6½-Liter Open Sports Tourer by Barker that sold for $1.655 million.
