We had a suspicion something momentous happened at the Nürburgring. Lamborghini has been teasing short clips of their run, and now it is official. In a press release, they announced the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has lapped the historic Nordschleife course in 6:44.9.....That places the Porsche GT2 RS into 2nd place with their 6:47.3, and the Huracan Performante is 3rd with 6:52. Their time was GPS certified using a VBOX-Racelogic telemetry system.

2016 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster Specs, Price and Pics
