The Dodge Hellcat Charger hasn’t received the same attention as the Challenger, mostly due to the build of the SRT Demon. But now it is time to give their popular sedan a few nice upgrades for 2019. Offered in six trim levels, the V6 GT model uses SRT technology and suspension for a fun RWD sedan. The SXT package now includes AWD. You can even order a 5.7L Hemi with AWD if you happen to be a police officer. Dodge won’t sell civilians this package which makes us question their logic.

If you do want Hemi V8 power, the R/T Scat Pack and the SRT Hellcat have received some “demonic” hardware. The Scat Pack arrives with the 6.4L 392 Hemi offering 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. A new switch on the dash activates the launch assist and the line lock. Houndstooth interior is standard while Bilstein active suspension and a matte black hood are optional. The Hellcat has Torque Reserve and the After-Run chiller added to the supercharger. The new grille has dual air inlets to feed the 707 horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8. With 650 lb-ft of torque, it remains the most powerful American sedan.
