If you’ve ever wanted the pages of duPont REGISTRY to come to life, tonight is your chance. Kicking off the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance this weekend is the annual duPont REGISTRY Live Hangar Party. It’s a one-of-a-kind night where as many guests arrive by plane as they do by car, and South Florida’s finest restaurants bring their best dishes. Purveyors of fine goods will also all have displays, each with something ready for you to take home.
Walk down the runway, flanked on either side by exotic cars, custom motorcycles and private jets. Tucked between them are extravagant boats, vintage aircrafts, luxury motorcoaches and dozens of guests in stunning attire. Tim Allen will be attending the event as a special guest, as well as Indy 500 Race Car driver, Jack Harvey.
Saturday night will play host to the Concours d’Elegance Grand Gala Dinner, Auctions and Show, where the Annual Automotive Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Norman Braman, Founder and owner of Braman Motorcars and National Lifetime Achievement Award to Bob Carter, Executive VP of Toyota North America. There will also be a performance by Tim Allen, the famous actor and comedian.
Sunday at the Boca Raton Resort & Club is the Concours itself, where many of the country’s finest collector cars and motorcycles will be presented on the show field. Jay Leno and Tim Allen will be walking the even from 11 am to 1 pm, looking for the winners of the "Jay Leno Big Dog Garage Award" and "Tim Allen Award." The awards ceremony beginning at 1 pm.
