It's time to sit back and listen to a wild story. One of the corporate partnerships and the sharing of technology. The QX30 launched in 2016 with a 2.0-liter turbo four. It offers 208 horsepower and 258 (wow) lb-ft of torque. Front wheel drive is standard, with optional AWD on the upper trim levels. Inside you are treated to all the modern conveniences, but a few of the menus are slow & clunky to navigate.

It was the controls that completed the mystery for us. A close look at the shifter and the instrument panel and we cracked the secret code. Underneath the Infiniti QX30 is a Mercedes-Benz GLA 250. The VIN will mislead you because it is assembled at a Nissan factory in England. A Japanese luxury compact crossover is a badge-engineered German, and they got it right.
It is not the fastest car in this segment, but it features Infiniti's smooth & unique styling along with the solid foundation of the GLA. The base price is a hair under 30 grand which is a few thousand below the Mercedes version. It is a great value if you are in the market, so stay with us for more news & reviews.
