Ford’s new 2017 F-150 Raptor is just as capable as its predecessors, if not more so. To show off just what this truck can do, Ford Performance uploaded a new video that shows it absolutely dominating the Mojave Desert. It should also be noted that this is also where the F-150 Raptor was designed and tested. This video can be viewed below.
Joining the release of the video was a press release, where Ford touched a bit more on the truck. They note that 2017 Raptor dropped more than 500 lbs thanks to an aluminum alloy construction. Helping the truck handle even the toughest terrains are redesigned and larger FOX Racing Shox and new terrain management technology. Of course, power is necessary and that’s why Ford packed it with a new second generation 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque.
