An incredible weekend for O’Gara Motorsport.

Making the most of the weekend was O’Gara Motorsport who just returned to the series alongside Arrow Electronics who is making their first appearance in the GT car racing world.
On Saturday, the US RaceTronics / O’Gara Motorsport / Change Racing team in the Arrow-sponsored No. 50 Lamborghini was driven by Patrick Kujala and co-driver Edoardo Piscopo managed a second-place overall finish. For the second Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America race of the weekend, Kujala and Piscopo of the O’Gara Motorsport team took 1st place after an exciting race. With these placements, the US RaceTronics / O’Gara Motorsport / Change Racing team sits in first place in the Super Trofeo Pro Championship.
Regarding the weekend’s events, Kujala had this to say: “What a great start for the USRT team! All our drivers were in the hunt all race long. It’s a long season, and we plan on capitalizing on the momentum we’ve achieved here. That includes everyone on this world-class team. We want to thank our title sponsor, Arrow Electronics. I am proud to be part of the team.”
“After being out of racing for three years, it’s exhilarating to be back racing at this level, said Piscopo. “Having the support of a team like Arrow O’Gara/Change Racing/US RaceTronics makes it easy to concentrate on getting the job done. My thanks go out to Lamborghini Beverly Hills as well.”
This outing was an excelling start for the O’Gara Motorsport team as a victory in the first round of the series is always welcome. From here, the team will travel to NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana May 20-22.
