Mercedes-Benz has introduced two new special editions for the SL and SLK range, according to a March 4 press release: the SL 2LOOK and the SLK CarbonLook.
The SL 2LOOK Edition features an exterior in a light-colored finish, such as designo magno cashmere white, designo diamond white bright, tenorite grey or iridium silver, with a contrasting black vario-roof in high-gloss. The two-tone theme continues inside the car where seats in black nappa leather contrast with designo nappa leather inserts in platinum pearl white. The steering wheel, floor mat, armrests and more feature this two-tone theme, creating a stunning visual. This special edition will be available with a V6 or V8 engine.
The SLK CarbonLOOK Edition is identified by its bold front end, side sill panels, rear end and five-spoke Mercedes AMG rims finished in titanium gray. Special roll-over bars and headlights with dark surrounds are also exclusive to the CarbonLOOK Edition. Mechanically, this edition features a larger brake system and the car itself has been lowered 10mm. The CarbonLOOK Edition will be available for the SLK 200, SLK 250, SLK 350 and SLK 250 CDI models.
Both editions will be available later this year as packages for their respective models.
