Mercedes announced in a Nov. 15 press release that the SLS AMG GT Final Edition will in fact be seen at both the LA International Auto Show and the Tokyo International Auto Show which will both take place on Nov. 20. The final gull winged coupe will only have 350 units produced and will host the last 6.3-Liter naturally aspirated V8 engine to emerge from AMG’s factory.
“With the SLS AMG GT FINAL EDITION we are showing an ultimate, particularly attractive variant of our super sports car,” said Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
Aside from that promise from Moers, no overall details are available. We wait patiently for the official release of the GT Final Edition and to see what figures will come along with the “ultimate, particularly attractive variant” of one of the most adored supercars in the world.
