Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Shot At With AK-47 With CEO In Driver’s Seat

There is one way to show you truly stand behind your product, and that is to literally stand, or sit, behind it. One businessman that did just this is Trent Kimball, president and CEO of Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC).

TAC is a Texas-based company that manufactures armored cars, trucks, SUVs and other specialty vehicles. This company is so sure of their product that they felt the world really needed to see what they are capable of. To do this, Kimball placed himself in the driver’s seat of a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class while one of his employees took aim at the windshield with an AK-47 rifle.

Meanwhile, cameras were rolling to catch it all on film.

The company uploaded a video of their demonstration to YouTube Nov. 10 for everyone to see just how well-made their product is. Not only does the window withstand the shots from the high-power rifle, the CEO states in the video that it could have “taken a lot more.”
