When video game designers of the new game Gran Turismo 6 arrived to their door hoping to create a special supercar just for the game, Mercedes-Benz delivered something unimaginable. The manufacturer brought together their creative team to design a car for the game. The team followed the same steps they use for designing a true concept to create a car that would outperform its virtual competition.
The AMG Vision GT is a futuristic looking supercar with an incredibly wide, very low body. Mercedes created an actual concept of the car and presented it at the 2013 LA Auto Show in November, which, needless to say, caused quite the stir.
In the video below you can see how they assembled the concept for this video game prodigy and prepared it for the LA Auto Show. Seeing the life size model of a video game concept and how it was built is certainly a treat.
